    Foster application

This application is intended to help us better understand you and your household to make sure the animal you are applying to foster is a good match for you.  After you application has been approved and a vet check completed you must be willing to submit to a home check before you are approved as a foster parent.  The right to deny any applicant for any reason is reserved.  This decision is within the discretion of the rescuer of the dog in question and or the rescue who has stepped up to take in the dog.

For those of you who have not fostered before, fostering is a very rewarding experience but it’s a lot like adding another pet to your home - except this one would be temporary.  We ask that every foster parent treat their foster dog as if it was their own beloved pet.  Give it the same love and care you would to your own dog.  Not all dogs get adopted out quickly and some will require special care and work before they are adoptable.  If you are applying to foster a dog please be able to make at least a 6 week commitment to fostering.  If you are able to foster more long-term, that is even better.
